Senior Advisor - Travis Moran

​

Travis Moran is a retired law enforcement professional with over 26 years of enforcement, security, and intelligence experience. He is currently the Vice President of Operations for Welund, N.A.

​

Travis began his federal law enforcement career with the U.S. National Central Bureau – Interpol, before transitioning to the U.S. Department of State and then ultimately the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) where he spent his last 15 years.

​

Travis has extensive experience in energy security working as a physical security specialist for both investor-owned utilities and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). Travis has become an energy specific subject matter expert regarding threats posed to energy companies from activism and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS/drones), as well as a thought leader in understanding how public safety and commercial operators will need to understand and respond to the drone incidents of the future.

​

Travis has a Master of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Society, and a Master of Science in Criminology and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

Senior Advisor - Dawn Zoldi

Founder of P3 Tech Consulting

Dawn Zoldi (Colonel, USAF, Retired) is a licensed attorney, a 25-year Air Force veteran and the founder and CEO of P3 Tech Consulting, connecting people and their advanced tech platforms with full spectrum policy-relevant information.

 

Ms. Zoldi was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1992 and commissioned through direct appointment in the United States Air Force in July 1993.

 

She is an internationally recognized expert on unmanned aircraft system law and policy, and a recipient of the Woman to Watch in UAS (Leadership) Award 2019.

Senior Advisor - Brian Leventhal

 

Brian Leventhal has spent the past 20 years in public service as a law enforcement officer in North Carolina.  For the last 14 years, Brian has served as a State Trooper with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

 

In 2013, Brian transferred to the Highway Patrol’s Crash Reconstruction Unit. While on this assignment, Brian received his Part 107 Remote Pilot license and helped to create the UAS program for the Highway Patrol with the focus of using unmanned aerial vehicles to map crash scenes, and provide disaster response.

 

Brian frequently participates in the UAS community as a remote pilot, conference presenter and panelist, and a subject matter expert in program implementation and development of Unmanned Aerial Systems in Government and Public Safety Agencies, using UAV’s for crash scene mapping, and disaster response using UAV’s.

 

Brian used his passion for aviation and knowledge gained as a remote pilot to help him transition to his most recent assignment within the Highway Patrol’s Aircraft Operations Unit, where he is working to receive his helicopter rating. Brian looks forward to the future as he continues to blend his manned and unmanned aviation careers!

Peter H. Schmidt is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Transcend Air, a start-up airline designing, building and operating its own fleet of VTOL aircraft.  He is an aerobatic pilot, engineer and executive with a long history in the aviation industry.

 

Peter has held a number of executive positions in the industry including, President & COO of Linear Air, an Eclipse 500 operator and Part 135 online charter marketplace, COO of Jet Advisors, a business aviation consultancy and Senior Vice President of the National Aviation Academy.

​

Additionally, he was the CTO North America for Ipanema Technologies and CEO of Echo Engineering, an embedded systems consulting engineering firm

​

He holds a bachelors in Computer Science and a masters in Management from MIT

Senior Advisor - Jason Goldstein

Jason Goldstein has been working in the environmental and energy industry since 1993 and has held various positions including Executive Director, CEO, COO and Vice President. Jason is an accomplished senior manager within the WSP USA organization, an Engineering and Consulting Firm.

​

Prior to joining WSP USA, Jason was an Energy Practice Leader at Ecology and Environment, Inc., the Executive Director of The INGAA Foundation, CEO and Managing Director of Jason Goldstein Associates, COO of Meridian LNG Holdings and Vice President of the Atlantic Sea Island Group.

​

Jason holds an MBA in Finance and Business Law from the NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business, an M.S. in Environmental Science from SUNY ESF, and a B.S. in Biology from Keene State College. Jason is a Registered Environmental Manager.

Dave Krause, is one of the co-founders of Influential Drones. He is a certified project manager, world traveler and an accomplished software architect with more than a dozen industry certifications. Having over 20-yrs of specialized technology experience, qualifies Dave to lead projects in the following sectors: transportation, commerce/banking, infrastructure and construction.

​

Dave is a member of the FAASTeam (FAA Safety Team) where he travels the country educating and promoting aviation safety. He sits on the NBAA's Emerging Technologies Committee. The committee maintains a focus on: unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), urban air mobility (UAM), unmanned traffic management (UTM), commercial space, other future technologies that will integrate into the National Airspace System (NAS).

 

He is the 2021 co-chair of CompTIA's Drone Advisory Council and is the liaison for the DroneResponder's Technical Advisor Program. Dave has contributed to the FAA's Drone Advisory Committee (DAC) as a member of TaskGroup 8 (Safety Culture) and TaskGroup 9 (UTM + Notify/Fly).

Jeff Hyman is the developer and operator of the HHI Heliport (65NJ) in Kearny, New Jersey.  The heliport is the largest rotorcraft-only infrastructure in the New York City metropolitan area.  He is also the VP of Marketing and Sales for the Analar Corporation, an owner and operator of helicopters based in Princeton, New Jersey.

Jeff's expertise in fixed-base operations and vertical infrastructure development is exceptionally important in the emerging UAS and eVTOL industry.  

 

Jeff is and experienced Managing Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the aviation industry. He has strong business development and professional skills in Management, Business Development, and Marketing Strategy.

Bronwyn is a sUAS (drone) Part 107 certified pilot, FAA Safety Representative and FAA Drone Pro, and is the Founder of Xeo Air (www.xeoair.com), an AI based drones on demand, data analytics and autonomy platform for mission management that connects B2B clients in telecom, catastrophic response, oil and gas, energy, construction, civil infrastructure.  

 

In addition, she is Founder of Airversity Drone Academy + Consulting (www.airversity.com), a professional UAV pilot training school for both Part 107 exam prep and drone flight and private and public safety consulting.

 

She is also leading MOUV UAM, a platform for AAM pilot training and AI based autonomous smart cockpits for AAM aircraft.

 

Previously, Head of Subkulture Innovation Lab, an innovation and advanced tech solutions firm focused on future proofing Fortune 500 companies. and worked with Silicon Valley based companies for the past 20 years.

 

She spent over 18 years at P&G and The Coca-Cola Company in strategy, sales and innovation.

Former Associate Director of Georgia State University’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute and is the Founder of Black Women In STEAM, an organization dedicated to galvanizing the efforts of women in STEAM fields. Has been a Board member for TEDxPeachtree, StartUp Atlanta, and a finalist for Woman of Year for Women In Technology.

Don has 35 years-experience in weather, aviation and logistics systems, including 24 years in the U.S. Air Force, during which he designed and led regional and global aviation weather operations centers, accumulated over 300 hours as an Airborne Meteorologist, contributed to development of the NEXGEN Weather CONOPS in 2005, and led all logistics and ground operations at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan in 2007-2008. 

 

A distinguished meteorologist and technologist, Don led the National Weather Service Directorate for Science and Technology from 2008-2012. This experience informs his efforts to seek out the best weather science and technology for the UAS industry. 

 

Don and his company focus on accelerating micro-weather sensing and prediction improvements to address UAS weather pain points. The goal is to enhance micro-weather understanding to make better airspace management and deconfliction decisions for drones and eVTOLs and increase operator mission effectiveness rates and profitability. 

 

Don leads the ASTM F38 Weather Supplemental Data Service Provider group developing weather specifications for UAS Traffic Management and Advanced Air Mobility systems.

Senior Advisor - Elizabeth McQueen

Senior Project Manager - Aviation Planning Practice Builder

Kimley-Horn

Elizabeth McQueen currently leads Kimley-Horn’s firmwide Airspace Practice.  Prior to joining Kimley-Horn, Elizabeth served as Principal Engineer with The MITRE Corporation’s Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD), the Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) of the FAA.

 

Elizabeth specializes in airspace and airside modeling and simulation, obstruction and airspace analyses, aviation planning, and complex data visualization. She has helped to support airspace initiatives across the National Airspace System (NAS) including several U.S. FAA Metroplex projects, UAS (drone) Policy, Spaceport Launch and Reentry licensing, and is currently involved in the development of innovative modeling and simulation to support UAM/AAM and UTM systems. During her career, Elizabeth has made significant contributions to aviation work in nearly 30 countries.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, a Master of City and Regional Planning in Transportation and Environmental Planning, Growth Management from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
